Problem downloading Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1
When I try to install a program that uses the Microsoft Installer, I receive 2 error messages. The dialog box is called "Installer Information" and the first error message is "Internal Error 2503" and the second is "Internal Error 2502". I have made a repair of Windows XP without any effect on this problem.

Presumably this is a microsoft installer file . . . they never work, the MS installer just tells me the file is corrupt. If I can find the same file as a zip or exe it will load without problems. Perhaps there is a problem with your Windows Installer runtime. You could try re-installing it:
